Spanish pianist, conductor and répétiteur Rodrigo de Vera is currently engaged as répétiteur and vocal coach at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, where he has worked with singers such as Jonas Kaufmann, Javier Camarena, Juan Diego Flórez, Ludovic Tézier, Leo Nucci, Joyce DiDonato or Sondra Radvanovsky on productions of Andrea Chénier, Rodelinda, Tristan und Isolde and Werther among other titles, under the baton of conductors such as Riccardo Frizza, Pinchas Steinberg, Marco Armiliato, Yves Abel and Henrik Nánási.

​As a conductor, he has assisted Liceu's music director Josep Pons on Mahler's symphony no. 2. He has also worked as an assistant conductor and chorus master at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London (GSMD) on productions of Debussy's L'Enfant prodigue, Donizetti's Francesca di Foix and the GSMD / Banff Centre co-production of Benjamin Britten's Owen Wingrave, with which he travelled to Canada for that work's premiere in that country. Rodrigo has also conducted a performance of Vaughan William's Riders to the Sea and Gustav Holst's Sāvitri at British Youth Opera.

An active recitalist, performer and recording artist, he has shared stage with great singers including Mariella Devia and Iréne Theorin, and has performed at venues such as the Wigmore Hall, the Gran Teatre del Liceu or the BBC Radio. Besides, he is often invited as an official pianist for the Tenor Viñas International Singing Contest in Barcelona.

​Rodrigo de Vera trained at Musikene in San Sebastián (Bachelor of Music in solo piano), at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London (MMus Répétiteur), at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid (Masters Degree in Conducting) and at English National Opera in London (ENO), and has a wide experience as a coach, accompanist and recitalist in a wide range of vocal and instrumental repertoire. While at ENO, he worked on Rigoletto, Xerxes, Così fan tutte, The Pearl Fishers, The Girl of the Golden West (La fanciulla del West), Peter Grimes (organist), the world premiere of Julian Anderson's Thebans (synthesizer) and Sondheim's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (organist and keyboardist).
