Solti Accademia alumna Hera Hyesang Park has released her first disc as part of her new recording relationship with famous classical music recording company Deutsche Grammophon. The album is available now to stream and buy. Congratulations Hyesang!

Congratulations to 2011 bel canto course alumna Wallis Giunta who is expecting her first child! 

2019 Solti Alumna Clare Tunney has joined the opera studio at Staatsoper Stuttgart this season. Among her many performances include a variety of concerts, and appearences as Papagena in Mozart’s, The Magic Flute, and Rosalinde in Strauss’, Die Fledermaus. Well done, Clare!

In March, 2021, Solti alumnus Freddie de Tommaso will make his role debut as Cavaradossi in Puccini’s, Tosca at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Freddie can also be heard at the Wiener Staatsoper in January performing Ismaele in Nabucco, and at Staatsoper Unter den Linden singing Alfredo in La Traviata in May. Well done Freddie!

Bel Canto Course Alumnus Benson Wilson appeared as Schaunard in ENO‘s “Drive & Live” production of Puccini’s, “La Boheme” at Alexandra Palace, London. He is also a member of ENO’s Harewood Young Artists Programme.

Solti alumnus Long Long will sing Tamino in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” at the Wiener Staatsoper in June, and the Duke in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” in January at the National Theatre in Prague.

Jonathan Lakeland, 2015 repetiteur course alumnus and GSA Associate Director, returns to Theatre an der Wien in February to Assistant Conduct their new production of Prokofiev’s, Der Feurige Engel.

Erik Garcia (repetiteur course alumnus 2015) has joined the music staff as a solorepetitor at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, beginning in the 2020/21 season.

Michael Sikich (repetiteur course alumnus) is now a member of the Royal Opera House’s prestigious Jette Parker Young Artist Programme.
